Club Description

Founded in 1938, Greenbelt Gun Club's (GGC) primary "focus" areas are skeet, trap, and high power rifle. The club holds 4-5 club trap events yearly. Members participate in AGC high power leagues and have sent teams to Camp Perry. GGC is a charter member of the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore(AGC) and currently has over 100 active members. NRA & MSRPA membership encouraged but not required.

The club holds one meeting annually in March. Club officers and board members are elected at this meeting. Monthly Board of Directors meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month (currently at Prince Georges Trap and Skeet). Club members are welcome to attend.

Activities

• Skeet shoots on federal holidays (New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day,4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day) plus the day before Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve at Prince Georges Trap and Skeet.
• Club participation in the AGC Intramural Trap League and future trap events coming
• High power match in Spring
• Varmint rifle shoot in Spring
• Young Marines .22 match every month from March to November
• Smallbore Dewar shoot in early Fall
• Pistol match in Fall
• M1/AR15 match in Fall
• Airgun shoot in late Fall

Club Affiliations

• National Rifle Association (NRA), Maryland State Rifle and Pistol Association, Civilian
• Marksmanship Program (CMP), and the National Shooting Sports Association (NSSA)

• New members must be sponsored by an active member in good standing
• Initiation fee $25
• Annual dues $25
• Associate membership $6
• Junior membership $2
• AGC range badge $150
• AGC Family range badge $50
