Inclement Weather Policy

The AGC operates off the same inclement weather closings policies for facilities as the Baltimore County Government and School systems.

Weekdays
When AGC facilities are closed by snow, ice or other severe weather conditions all day or before regular closing time “sunset”, all activities scheduled for that afternoon and evening inside range meeting, classroom and recreation centers will be cancelled.

Weekends/Holidays
In the event of a severe weather event when school is not in session, recreation programs will be cancelled whenever the snow emergency plan is in effect, as will the AGC.  AGC’s staff, members and guest are advised to listen for updated information.

Snow Emergency Plan Status
In addition, when the Snow Emergency Plan is in effect, there will be an announcement on the upper right corner of the Baltimore County Home Page http://www.baltimorecountymd.gov .

Operational Plan
Facilities closed for normal business, delayed opening, or early departure. Personnel in essential positions report to or remain at work as scheduled or as otherwise specifically directed by the Association’s Executive VP, if unavailable in authority succession members of the Executive Committee.
